a step closer.

We received our I171-H (Immigrations orphan petition pre-approval) !

We are leaping for joy!

Now waiting for one last (re-do) Dr.'s letter to be completed.

In the meantime we are getting together all our loose ends.

In a matter of days, we should be set to bring our (official) documents to St.Paul for authentic State seals.

Following the mentioned steps our dossier is ready to be sent to Ethiopia -but must be accompanied with the first of our In-Country fee's ($5,000.).

In Ethiopia, it (dossier) will be translated.

Then we'll be officially on the "waiting list".

We are eager to, "hurry up and wait" again.

We are praying for God's provision... discernment... and grace...

And in Him we trust!

Please pray with us.

Thank you!

loss of words.

I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay
The last thing I need is to be heard
But to hear what You would say
Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to see
Your majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak
I'm finding myself in the midst of You
Beyond the music,
beyond the noise
All that I need is to be with You
And in the quiet hear Your voice
I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay

yea.

“Yea, they who are very poor may be obliged to give for the relief of others in much greater
distress even than they…
We may, by the rules of the gospel, be obliged to give to others
when we cannot do it without suffering ourselves…
how else will we bear one another’s burdens? If we are
never obliged to relieve others’ burdens but when we can do it
without burdening ourselves,
then how do we bear our neighbor’s burdens when we bear no burdens at all?”

where we are.

On the Adoption Front, some of you may be asking "what's happening?"

And as of right now.

we continue to wait for Immigrations Pre-approval to bring orphans/our children home into our country.

we were under the understanding this typically takes somewhere between 30-90 days from fingerprinting. we now know that it can take longer than 90 days after receiving all needed documentation-from our adoption agency. {finger printed March 31... all documents received beginning of May}

So instead of receiving our approval sometime in June, we will prayerfully receive it before the end of Summer.

Upon Immigrations approval, we are clear to send our dossier (official paperwork; homestudy, Dr. letters, birth certificates, and countless other documents) to Ethiopia.

The dossier is then translated and we will officially be on the "waiting list".

*note: Our dossier must be accompanied with the first of our in-country fee's.

"in quietness and trust is your strength... For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" Isaiah 30: 15, 18

we continue to pray ahead, $ave all we can, and trust in the Lord's plan for our family.

f.y.i.: Our Garage Sale raised just under $250. And we are now "that" much closer.

We ask that you continue to keep our (whole) family in your prayers.

Thank you to each one of you for your expression of love & support for our family and this amazing journey. We are blessed!!!

Sincerely,

The Fisher's

great game!

GO TWINS!!!

We celebrated "Adoptive Families" day at a picnic with our Adoption agency and then at
the Twins game yesterday... And had a blast!!!

J. got a little tired at about the 6th inning... The 7th inning stretch helped alot.

J. is so into every detail. (Check out his Twins sign... He drew "twin" baseball players. And wondered it the players we would be watching would have the same faces. Ya know, "Twins"?)
I love this boy!

M. and E. also really loved the game... They held up their signs & waved & cheered trying to get on the big screen (no luck though) and thought the "WAVE" was super cool!

And we're on our way out.
Twins win 13-7 against the White Sox!
400+ in attendance representing the many faces of "Adoptive Families"
Great Game!!!
Great Day!!!
